  Other Stuff

Sometimes I think we all cycle together, rather as women who share a house allegedly come to align their menstrual cycles. Sometimes everyone's quiet, all my lists are torpid and no one seems to be updating their journals; and then all of a sudden there's a flurry of talk and ideas and I start pacing around, churning with stuff I want to say.

It is most unfortunate when this happens at the same time that work is eating up my life and I can't just take a sick day and type madly.

So, just a quick notation for myself of stuff to return to when I have some time:

--the one about fat, body image, the aesthetics of appearance;
--the Zennish sermon about opinions and the having thereof;
--the one about friendship, riffing off an entry of Miriam's from a couple of weeks ago;
--the one in which I update my links yet again, and berate myself for being scatterbrained;
--the one in which I do gleeful wheeee!ing about Cassandra's blog, grab her comment about won't versus can't, and run with it in directions as yet unclear;
--the one in which I indulge in extended public indecision about whether I should try vidding, and gas on about the nature of vidding in general;
--the one in which I pick at my scabby nervousness about the fact that my brother may be reading this (uh, K.? if you're here? uh .... hi. ‹weak wave›).

Time, time, time. God damn it, why do we have to sleep, anyway???
